FM3 Processing Line


E-A-R's FM3 polymer processing line produces the widest possible range of materials needed to meet the performance requirements of today's product designs.

Integrated computerized controls help to ensure product quality throughout the 225-foot long system of ovens, conveyors and material handing stations. This feedback system allows in-process adjustments that help eliminate waste and save money.

Dual ovens provide precise temperature control for split-zone curing matched to optimal line speed.

Split-oven design allows E-A-R to add component layers in mid-stream, for maximum flexibility in one-pass composite casting.

In-line substrate and facing handling stations allow versatile multi-layer options.

Integrated cooling towers provide additional versatility for multi-chemistry processing of specialty elastomers.

Finished composites, in widths up to 60 inches, come directly off the line in custom roll or sheet lengths. Automated die-cutting and slitting also are available.
